Why ‘Fellshore’?

Our name reflects the places that shape us. Colin lives among the fells of the Lake District, Jen by the coast in South Shields.

Together, these landscapes represent the balance of perspective and possibility we bring to our work and our roots in place-based economic development.

OUR STORY

Fellshore began with two people who share a passion for making a difference. Colin and Jen met working in economic development in 2010 and quickly discovered a shared belief that organisations with purpose can transform places and lives when strategy, communications and delivery all work together.

Where strategy meets action

Between us, we've spent decades helping local authorities, universities, business support providers and charities shape strategy, engage stakeholders and deliver programmes that make a real impact.

But we also saw how often organisations were forced to choose between strategic advice, communications support or delivery expertise, when they really needed all three, integrated and underpinned by evidence.

So we created Fellshore. A consultancy built on that complete approach, combining insight, storytelling and delivery experience, with a friendly and flexible apppoach that gets things done.
